Refunds & Cancellation
Last updated: 4 August 2026
Fourteen days, no explanation needed. Cancel whenever you want, from your own account, and keep what you already paid for until the period ends.
Not on sale yet
ModTamer is still in development. This policy describes how refunds will work once paid plans are available. The log analyser on this site is free and always will be.
Refunds
If ModTamer is not what you expected, ask for a refund within 14 days of your purchase and you get your money back. You do not have to justify it, and we will not ask you to sit through a retention pitch.
Refunds go back to the payment method you used. Purchases are handled by Paddle as merchant of record, so the refund is processed by Paddle and usually appears within a few business days, depending on your bank.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have a statutory right of withdrawal. This policy does not reduce it.
After 14 days
We are not rigid about it. If something went genuinely wrong — you were charged twice, a renewal took you by surprise, ModTamer stopped working for a reason that is ours — write to contact@modtamer.com and tell us what happened. We would rather sort it out than have you fight your bank over it.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time from the customer portal linked in your purchase receipt. It takes a couple of clicks and does not require talking to anybody.
When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not cut you off the moment you cancel — you paid for that time and it is yours. You are not charged again after that.
If a payment fails
An expired card is not a cancellation. If a renewal fails, ModTamer keeps working while the payment is retried over the following days. We only stop access once the payment provider gives up. Losing your tool because a card expired would be a bad way to treat someone who wanted to keep paying.
How to ask
Email contact@modtamer.com with the address you used to buy, or use the Paddle receipt you received. One person reads that inbox, so please be patient — but you will get an answer.
